Tax Consultancy Jakovljević - Kušeta Ltd employs two certified tax advisors with rich and comprehensive professional experience, who are providing services with high expertise, and mandatory and full compliance with legal regulations. Ms Mirjana Jakovljević first in Croatia passed her exam for licensed tax advisor in September 2002, and Mr. Dubravko Kušeta first in Croatia began to perform the tax advisory services at the beginning of 2003.

Certified Tax Advisor is being engaged by the taxpayer in order to provide him, by consulting and giving him advice and instructions on all tax matters, with proper, optimal and lawful application of tax regulations, and making and/or assisting him in filing tax returns and other reports to tax authorities. Furthermore, a tax advisor is authorized to represent taxpayers in all phases of the tax audit and supervision procedures and other proceedings before tax authorities, as well as for tax expert evaluations. Our scope of work also includes the monitoring of the regularity of tax and accounting records of the taxpayers.

Proper interpretation and systematic monitoring of the implementation of the valid tax regulations, as well as prompt preparation and reaction to changes of regulations, can by each taxpayer certainly result in optimization of the amount of tax liabilities. The activity of tax advisory was introduced in Croatia in 2001, by passing the Tax Advisory Act (Official Gazette NN 127/00, 76/13 and 115/16), and the Croatian Chamber of Tax Advisors (www.hkps.hr) also operates in Croatia.
